APRIL 7, 1994 PRODUCT: About 200,000 disposable "tractor trailer" novelty cigarette lighters imported by GOLDEN APPLE XXCO. The lighters sold at convenience stores nationwide from December 1993 through March 1994. The lighters are tractor trailer-shaped with five pairs of tiny wheels on one edge. One side has one of three tractor trailer pictures: "American Spirit" shows a red tractor trailer together with the head of an eagle; "Truck Country" shows a tractor trailer together with a flag of the United States; and "Midnight Rider" shows a tractor trailer in front of a full moon. The flue of the lighter is engraved with an apple figure and the word "apple." A caution sticker on the back states "Made in Philippines." PROBLEM: The tractor trailer-shaped lighters are very attractive to children who could easily mistake them for toys. If a child plays with the lighter, a fire and/or serious burn injuries may result. WHAT TO DO: Put the lighters out of reach of children. Then return the lighters to the store where purchased for a free gift. WASHINGTON, DC -- CPSC, GOLDEN APPLE XXCO., Industry, CA, is voluntarily recalling novelty cigarette lighters in the shape of tractor trailer trucks. The lighters, complete with five pairs of tiny wheels on one edge and a picture of a tractor trailer on the side are very attractive to children and may invite play. If a child plays with the lighter, a fire and/or serious burn injuries may result. There are three designs of the tractor trailer-shaped lighter, each printed with a different tractor trailer and the words "American Spirit," "Truck Country," or "Midnight Rider." "American Spirit" shows a red tractor trailer truck together with the head of an eagle, "Truck Country" shows an American flag together with a tractor trailer, and "Midnight Rider" shows a tractor trailer in front of a full moon. Galanz Americas Recalls Retro Refrigerators
The Galanz retro-style refrigerators were sold in black, blue, red and white, and measure about 58 inches high, 24 inches deep and 21 inches wide. The 7.6 cu. ft. capacity refrigerators have either left-hand opening or right-hand opening doors with handles, three adjustable glass shelves and one drawer. The top freezer has a separate door, one drawer and "Galanz" printed on front. Only refrigerators with date codes ranging from December 2018 through December 2020 and with one of the following model numbers are included in this recall: BCD-215V-62H, GLR76TRDER, GLR76TBKER, GLR76TBEER or GLR76TWEER. "Galanz," the model number and the date code, in YYYYMM format, are printed on a white label on the upper left-hand corner on the back of the unit. Hazard: The recalled refrigerators' internal electrical components can short circuit and ignite, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards. Remedy: Consumers should unplug and stop using the recalled refrigerators immediately until repaired and contact Galanz to schedule free in-home repair by a qualified technician.

BenQ America Recalls GV31 Portable Projectors
This recall involves BenQ-branded portable projectors, model GV31. The white, circular projectors measure about 5.2 inches by 8 inches by 7.5 inches; weigh about 3.7 pounds and are powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The projectors sit on a gray base and have a built-in speaker, a carrying strap, a lens and control buttons at the top. They were shipped with a remote control. The brand name and model number are printed on the label on the underside of the projector's gray base. Hazard: The recalled projectors' lithium-ion battery can overheat, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards. Consumers will be asked to register at https://www.benq.com/en-us/support/gv31recall.html and receive a prepaid label and package to return the recalled product. Note: Do not throw this recalled projector with lithium-ion battery in the trash, the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries, because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to a HHW collection center, contact that office ahead of time and ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.

This recall involves EnHomee 15-Drawer 51" Dressers. The recalled dressers come in white, brown, and black. The dressers have 15 fabric drawers, and the frames are made of metal. They are 11.8 inches wide, 51.2 inches tall, 39.3 inches long, and weigh 44.8 pounds. Only orders placed on or before April 10, 2026, are part of this recall. Golden Link Recalls Fantastic Four Cups and Captain America Popcorn Helmet Containers with LED Lights
This recall involves Fantastic Four Invisible Woman and Human Torch Drinking Cups and Captain America Popcorn Helmet Containers with LED lights. The products are souvenirs sold at movie theaters for the Fantastic Four and Captain America movie productions. The Fantastic Four Invisible Woman cups are blue and the Human Torch cups are red in color. The Captain America helmet containers are navy blue and silver and about 85 ounces with an opening at the top to store popcorn. Hazard: The cups and containers violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because they contain button cell batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. In addition, the products do not bear the warning labels required by Reese's Law. If button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death. Remedy: Consumers should stop using the Fantastic Four Cups and Captain America Popcorn Helmet Containers immediately and contact Golden Link for a refund of the purchase price of the product.
